  1. Catherine, it's fantastic to see the growth in your work over the past few years. You are still one of my favorite landscape photographers.
The colors, shapes and textures in these images really make them stand out and provide an interesting subject.

  2. I should add that your use of shallow depth of field "makes" these images. IMO if the whole image were sharp, a lot would be lost. This is the difference between art and a snap shot.

  3. You used great porportion in each image of the flowers to give a great balance of of color and depth of field. Great job!

  4. The third image, Purple Cactus, really speaks to me in terms of color and proportion. The contrast of the purple/teal/green of the cactus is a great compliment to the yellow/green/white of the cactus blossom. The size of the blossom, as well as it's sharpness, is a wonderful contrast to the size and blur of the cactus behind it. Beautiful image!

  7. I love the Wild Daisy photo. The shadows on the left of the daisy bring my eye in and down the metal 'rail' in the center of the photo to the daisy. From the daisy the metal rail brings the eye around the right of the image and back to the top. Well done!
