I really like this drawing! Charcoal is my favorite, by the way. I really like the way you made the texture of the flower (it looks like a poppy) seem so soft. Also, the whole piece is very balanced by the super dark background and the lightness of the flower. Great job!
I really like this drawing. Usually I'm a very symmetrical person but I love the asymmetry of this photo. The balance of the negative space to the right with the flower that is off-set to the left is visually appealing to the eye.
