This painting was done in several layers of acrylic paint. The wash effect used helped me blend my colors together to get a more unique feeling. The color and texture that was used was meant to draw your eye through the image.

I was just playing around on some palette strokes and some blending techniques and I came up with the sunset background. Happy accident at its best. The cactus was done in black because I wanted it to stand out as a bold image.
